What a great shoot I had with the beautifully sensual & talented Sharie Elise.  We shot inside a photo studio in downtown Houston as well as its surrounding area that provided some unique looks.  Sharie was so fun spirited and easy going, I had a great time working with her.  My theme for this shoot was Color.  I want to showcase the richness of all the unique & contrasting colors from her outfits to the backgrounds.

I did my first fitness shoot with the amazing fitness model Katherine Land.  It was not a easy shoot.  Aside from figuring out the right lighting and poses, I even trip and broke my Strobe B800.  But with some trail & error and the help from Katherine’s trainer, we were able to capture some great images.  Katherine’s physique and dedication also motivate me to push myself to workout and train harder to reach my own fitness goal.

This was a retro style fashion look that I wanted to try with the wonderful Julianna at Kemah Boardwalk.  It was done several months ago (just now have a chance to post) during the height of the hot Houston summer in August.   The over 100 degree sun almost melted the both of us.  We had to take frequent breaks and seek AC shelter in the nearby Starbucks.  Not to mention Juli almost lost her keys lol.  But I think a few of the images that came out of the shoot was well worth all the sweat and pain.

A Haute Couture style shoot in the “jungle” of Brazos Bend State park.  The 2nd set was more of a lifestyle look which we also wanted to try.  I think some of the results might be my favorites to date.

I took another walk in downtown Houston in hope to capture some fashion portrait with the grand Houston City Skyline.  The weather was not helping at all.  It was cold and rainy.  And when the rain stopped and the temperature warmed up, the sky was still flat and grey with no clouds.  We just had to make do with what we had.  Model Keyah King has a very strong face and great movements.  In the end, I feel that we were able to capture a few good ones.
